Create ebooks for you ipod
24 April, 2007 — fmcleanYou can create notes to read on your ipod. To make it easy to convert webpages and text documents to notes you can use the online service at ipod notes.
Or you can do it the hard way by coding the pages yourself Make ebooks for your ipod guide
Apple have a pdf that can be downloaded that also shows you how to create notes.
iPodulator Pro is another program that allows you to add all sorts of content to your ipod and best of all its free. just be careful when loading onto your ipod though I know of someone who found they were downloading links that were 100’s deep.
There are plenty of other ways of doing this and sometimes it works really well, especially if you convert web pages that don’t hold too many images. Text based is best. But if you want to read some pages offline it is quick and easy and because the ipod is so small it makes it so mobile. Have a go!

I would strongly recommend you watch Accessing Blogs on different types of mobile devices before you creating text files from web pages. It shows what web sites look like when you put them onto ipods.

I agree. you have to be careful what you are converting to view on your ipod. I will try and get around to creating some screen shots of pages I have converted and put those here just to show what success I have had so far. I have had some success creating quizzes in the same way and when fully tested I will put some up so others can try them out.
